"Let them in," she said coolly, putting down the teacup. She didn't bother to disguise her displeasure.

The door opened, revealing a young man in luxurious robes. He had a condescending air about him, as if he had already won the argument before it even began. "Princess," he said, his tone dripping with sarcasm, "I thought you were supposed to be resting."

"I am," she replied, her voice calm but firm. "But it seems you couldn't resist coming to bother me."
